Automation – Meat Production Systems

Industrial automation in meat production

In many companies, the degree of automation for slaughtering, cutting up and packaging is well advanced. In contrast, in most companies sausage meats, salami etc. are still produced without automated and standardised processes. Every day, hundreds of meat trucks are rolled to and fro by hand and sent to the next processing step with time-consuming lifting equipment. This is just where TIPPER TIE ALPINA GmbH has set itself the target of automating processes and increasing production reliability. This means that we offer our end customers real customer benefit with calculable investments with very short pay-back times – both in terms of money and quality.

In order to achieve this, we are working in plant engineering in close cooperation with an innovative partner. Founded in 1867, Velati S.r.L (I-Tribiano) has many years of experience in the food industry is one of the best addresses worldwide for plant engineering. Salami, mortadella and fine sausage meat lines with fully integrated standardisation, fat analysis, weighing, networked process control, daily and weekly plans are the day-to-day business of the plant manufacturer Velati. Trackability is already almost a by-product of the refined controls. In addition to transport, process and control systems, Velati produces industrial mincers and mixers as line components.
